Best Practice Information Sheets
Best Practice Information Sheets are derived from the findings of systematic reviews to provide condensed information for clinicians. Prior to wide dissemination of a Best Practice Information Sheet, the information is assessed for its potential impact on current nursing practice in at least three agencies. Following dissemination, an evaluation is conducted to measure the effect that the Best Practice Information Sheet has had on nursing practice.
Best Practice Information Sheets are widely distributed through a range of channels, including the journals Collegian, Australian Nursing Journal, Australian Journal of Rural Health, and International Journal of Nursing Practice. Access to the Best Practice Information Sheets is also available through the Joanna Briggs Institute (http://www.joannabriggs.edu.au/about/home.php).
