The Western Australian Centre for Evidence Informed Healthcare Practice was established in 1997 and is a collaborating centre of the Joanna Briggs Institute. The Institute is based at the University of Adelaide, with over 60 collaborating centres throughout the world. The Western Australian Centre for Evidence Informed Healthcare Practice undertakes a range of practice-oriented research activities to improve the effectiveness of health care practice and outcomes, with a particular focus on the health of women and children, and wound healing and management.
